BofA Names CFO, Investment Bank Chief

Bank of America Corp. named a chief financial officer and a head of its investment bank, appointing company veterans to the key jobs before the firm’s purchase of FleetBoston Financial Corp.
Marc Oken will become CFO, replacing and reporting to James Hance, who will remain vice chairman. Hance has been CFO of Bank of America or its predecessors since 1988.
Alvaro de Molina will become head of the global corporate and investment bank, replacing Edward Brown, who is retiring.
Bank of America shares fell 20 cents to $78.53 on the NYSE.
