Tillman’s Silver Star
Pat Tillman’s death is a tragedy, as is the death of any serviceman in the performance of his duty (May 1). One cannot help but wonder, however, if, under identical circumstances, a Silver Star would have been awarded to an anonymous farm boy from Nebraska or a Mexican American youth from Arizona.
