Temblor Death Toll Rises to at Least 35

Giant boulders and crushed cars littered a mountain road a day after a strong earthquake unleashed landslides and killed at least 35 people and injured 250 others in northern and central Iran.
A helicopter carrying a provincial governor and three of his aides who had been surveying the damage crashed in the northern mountains, killing all eight on board.
The Friday quake, which was felt in eight provinces in central and northern Iran, damaged more than 80 villages.
