Watershed Event has won two in a row since being introduced to the turf, and the 3-year-old son of Charismatic will get tested for class today when he will be among 11 scheduled to run in the $150,000 Commonwealth Turf at Churchill Downs.

Trained by Dale Romans for owners Ken and Sarah Ramsey, Watershed Event lost six of his first seven while racing on the dirt in Kentucky and New York.

Tried on the grass for the first time in a $35,000 claimer on Sept. 6 at Saratoga, the $57,000 yearling purchase won by three-quarters of a length at nearly 8-1, then returned nearly six weeks later to win a Keeneland allowance by a head at 5-1. Dean Sarvis will ride Watershed Event.
