Models do Geisha

Supermodels strutted their stuff at a private Victoria’s Secret party at Geisha House, a swanky new restaurant and sake lounge at 6633 Hollywood Blvd. set to open Nov. 29. Such dazzling dames as Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bundchen were in on the fun, and we hear Geisha aims to be the sophisticated new kid on an increasingly popular block. A particularly cool detail is Geisha’s 50-foot, tower-of-fire sake bar.... More “new” news: Geisha partners Adolfo Suaya, Mike Malin, Lonnie Moore (Dolce), Michael Sutton (Hollywood Canteen) and Shereen Arazm (Concorde/El Centro) have teamed up with designer Dodd Mitchell to create the Lodge, a new venue at La Cienega and Wilshire boulevards designed to look and feel like a Mammoth ski lodge with hints of Frank Lloyd Wright. The Lodge makes its debut in mid-December.... We hear Guy’s on Beverly Boulevard is jumping each Friday and last weekend such cool cats as Heather Graham, Tom Morello and Jamie Kennedy were seen on the scene.

Kickstart our hearts

The Key Club morphed back into its former Gazzarri’s self Saturday night when Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil hit the stage, performing Crue cuts to an adoring crowd of old-school headbangers.... In more Key Club news, the Teen People American Music Awards after-party Sunday was a big hoo-ha. Such notables as Usher, Nicki Hilton, Bijou Philips and Ashlee Simpson breezed through the party, which included a performance by Kanye West, the artist who inspired Anna Nicole Smith’s bizarro accolades at the AMAs. (See, there is such a thing as “too” thin.) And finally, Alice in Chains and Cult fans got the best of both worlds Monday at the Sunset Strip nightclub when Cardboard Vampyres sank their teeth into a bloody good set. The supergroup features Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains and Billy Duffy of the Cult performing hit songs from both their bands.

Unrhyme, unreason

Now here’s an event for the anarchist literati: Lost in the Grooves, a music and unpoetry event at Mr. T’s Bowl in Highland Park on Dec. 4. The event includes a performance by John Trubee, founder of the rock band the Ugly Janitors of America. Trubee promises to give an anti-poetry rant and offer bizarre philosophical musings.... Barkeep Bobby Green (Bigfoot Lodge/Bat Cave) continues to enjoy building pubs off the beaten path. His latest adventure is the Lucky Tiki, a bar he’s creating in the San Fernando Valley where the 405 meets the 118.... And speaking of the Valley, the North Hollywood hang, NoBar, celebrated its one-year anniversary last night. Mazel tov.
