Car Hits Truck Carrying Frozen Turkeys; 3 Die
From Times Wire Reports
A car collided with a tractor-trailer carrying 11,000 pounds of frozen turkeys, killing three people, authorities said in Tahlequah.
The victims were in the car, which ran a stop sign, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Nobody in the truck was injured.
“There was nothing we could do about it,” said Aaron Gower, a passenger in the truck. “It was like they didn’t even know there was a stop sign.”
