Council May Tighten Rules on Sex Shops

The Pismo Beach City Council will meet today to discuss an emergency proposal to strengthen restrictions on sex shops.
The move comes in response to rumors that sex shop owner Steve Diamond, who operates several Diamond Adult World shops on the Central Coast, is planning to expand into Pismo Beach. The council plans to discuss adding restrictions to an ordinance that allows adult businesses to operate in shopping centers.
