Woman Hurt in Fire, Chain-Saw Attack Dies

A 33-year-old woman whose ex-husband allegedly attacked her with a chain saw two weeks ago died Monday.
Authorities said the suspect, Carlos Hernandez Romo, had found his ex-wife with a boyfriend. Witnesses said the boyfriend ran from the home and asked people to call police. A fire erupted and the woman ran from the house trying to extinguish her clothes.
