Miami Dolphin quarterback Jay Fiedler said he would start Sunday at Buffalo despite not practicing this week because of a cracked rib.

“I’m playing and I’m good to go,” he said Friday.

Fiedler aggravated the injury last Sunday during a 24-10 loss to New England and sat out the end of the game.

Sammy Morris will become the fourth player to start at running back this season for the Dolphins, replacing Leonard Henry.

Linebacker LaVar Arrington and kicker John Hall of the Washington Redskins were ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. Arrington will sit out his fourth consecutive game since undergoing knee surgery Sept. 22. Lemar Marshall will start again in his spot. Hall strained his groin during practice Thursday.... The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost starting defensive end Lionel Barnes for the season. Barnes, who injured his shoulder Sept. 19 against Denver, was put on injured reserve.... Punter Tom Rouen, who has a strained right hamstring, returned to practice but didn’t perform well enough to persuade Seattle Coach Mike Holmgren that he would be healthy enough for Sunday’s game at New England.
