Peterson’s Attorneys Present Defense Case

Scott Peterson’s defense attorneys launched their case Monday, disputing a key prosecution theory that Peterson lied when he told police he had used cement mix to repair his driveway. Prosecutors said Peterson made five cement anchors, one of which was found in the boat authorities allege he used to dispose of Laci Peterson’s body. The other anchors, which they allege he used to sink his pregnant wife’s body in San Francisco Bay, have not been found.
