Defining ‘Liberal’

By constant misuse of the word, President Bush and the right wing have conspired to warp “liberal” from a positive word to a negative word. Look at some of the basic dictionary definitions of the word: “Free from prejudice or bigotry. Tolerant. Favoring a representative form of government rather than aristocracies, monarchies or dictatorships.” If Bush and his party are against these ideals, they must not be in charge of this nation!
