The Clark County Health District is investigating a mysterious illness that struck about 60 people at a Las Vegas hotel-casino.

Guests and employees at the Flamingo Las Vegas reported flu-like symptoms Wednesday, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and headaches.

Two hundred rooms were closed to be cleaned with chemicals, said Michael Coldwell, a spokesman with Caesars Entertainment, which owns the Flamingo. He said he expected the rooms to reopen today.
