Parents Will Be Billed for False Bomb Report

The parents of three teenagers will be charged $3,700 each to cover the costs from calling in a false bomb report to Atascadero High School.
The report last week led to the evacuation of the school and a five-hour search for explosives.
The 17-year-old boys were charged Wednesday with making a false bomb threat, a felony. If convicted, they face up to three years in custody, Deputy Dist. Atty. Andrew Baird said.
