The U.S. Open Series is the six-week summer tennis season for 10 ATP and WTA Tour professional tournaments in North America that lead up to the U.S. Open. A look at this year’s final standings:

Note: Hewitt and Davenport finish first in final standings based on more match wins in U.S. Open Series events. Series bonus points are awarded at each of the 10 U.S. Open Series tournaments during the summer. Players competing in singles in U.S. Open Series tournaments will vie for up to $1.3 million in bonus prize money at this year’s U.S. Open. In 2004, the men’s and women’s winners of the U.S. Open Series will earn 50% more prize money at the U.S. Open. Second-place finishers will receive 25% and third-place finishers will receive 10%.
