From Times Wire Reports

Attackers believed to be Protestant extremists crashed a forklift truck into a Belfast pub packed with Catholics and then tossed gasoline bombs into the building, police said.

No one was hurt, but the forklift crashed through a window just above a bench where a patron had been sitting seconds earlier, bar owner Sean Conlon said.

Roman Catholic leaders blamed the largest outlawed Protestant group, the Ulster Defense Assn.
