3 Killed When Car Crashes Into Building
A Nissan sports car went off La Cienega Boulevard early Monday and crashed into a building, killing the driver, a passenger and a pedestrian, police said.
The accident at Alcott Street occurred about 3:15 a.m., said West Traffic Division Officer Jesse Maldonado.
Los Angeles Fire Department authorities pronounced the victims, all males, dead at the scene. Police identified the driver of the vehicle as Jeff Cherubin, 22, of Claremont. Marvin Washington, 21, of Walnut was the passenger, police said. The name of the 51-year-old pedestrian was not released pending notification of family.
