* An affiliate of Burbank-based Shamrock Holdings Inc., the private investment company of the Roy E. Disney family, has agreed to acquire the assets and business operations of Guam Telephone Authority for $140 million in cash and a $10-million promissory note. GTA provides telecommunications services to residents of Guam.

* Qualcomm Inc. of San Diego said it would buy the rest of San Francisco-based Iridigm Display Corp. it doesn’t already own for $170 million to acquire its patented technology for wireless-phone screens.

* Cisco Systems Inc. of San Jose said it would buy NetSolve Inc. of Austin, Texas, for $128.5 million, its seventh cash acquisition this year, to add software for managing corporate networks.

* A former executive and a former consultant to Santa Fe Springs shoemaker Vans Inc. were arrested on federal charges that they obtained $4.7 million in bribes and kickbacks from Chinese factories. If convicted on all 13 counts, Scott Andrew Brabson, formerly vice president of sourcing, and Jay William Rosendahl of Oregon will each face a maximum penalty of 95 years in prison.
