Column inspires an urge to revisit

I regularly read Susan Spano’s column, Her World. Her article “60 Curious, Brave Women Travelers” [Sept. 5] was particularly inspired and perhaps her best work. The Times hasn’t published anything this good since columnist Jack Smith died. She made me want to go back to the National Portrait Gallery in London.
