Missing Picasso painting is found
From Associated Press
French police have recovered a Pablo Picasso painting that disappeared last year from the Pompidou Centre modern art museum in Paris, the museum said Friday.
An inventory check conducted in May revealed that the oil-on-canvas “Nature Morte a la Charlotte,” painted in 1924, was missing, the museum said. The disappearance was reported to police.
The museum said police found the painting, but it did not elaborate. The investigation into the painting’s disappearance continues.
