Teen Swimmer Missing and Presumed Drowned

A 19-year-old man was missing and presumed drowned Sunday after he became distressed while swimming in Castaic Lake, authorities said.
The teenager was boating with friends and family in the northwest corner of the upper lake, said Capt. Mark Savage of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The man was reported missing about 1:30 p.m.
Castaic Lake lifeguards responded immediately, but could not locate the teen.
