Ronald B. Linsky, the executive director of the National Water Research Institute, died Sunday of complications from cancer at the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Linsky had run the Fountain Valley-based institute from its founding in 1991. It was established by local water agencies and philanthropies to create new sources of water. He was 71.
