Jim Wiseman, 50, of Phillips Ranch, and his brother, Ed, 60, completed a 65-mile backpacking trip through California’s Sierra Nevada. The trip included Colby Pass (12,000 feet) and Forrester Pass (13,200 feet). “We found the Sierras this year well watered, bursting with flowers and totally exhilarating,” says Wiseman.
