Radio, TV Told To Show R.E.S.P.E.C.T. to Women

Central African Republic told radio and TV stations to stop airing songs that encourage men to dump their wives, saying such music hinders national development.

Polygamy is legal in the former French colony, with men allowed to have up to four wives.
