Ventura County Gives Lawyers 4% Pay Raise

Ventura County’s government lawyers won a 4% pay increase in a labor pact approved Tuesday by the Board of Supervisors.
About 120 prosecutors, deputy public defenders and child welfare lawyers are covered in the one-year agreement.
The average annual salary will be nearly $117,000 with the raise, county officials said.
