Suspect in 2003 Mob Killing Pleads Not Guilty

The man accused of gunning down reputed mob boss Adolfo “Big Al” Bruno two years ago pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Springfield Superior Court.
Authorities said Frankie Roche, 32, shot Bruno, 58, numerous times on Nov. 23, 2003, in the parking lot of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society. Prosecutors have not disclosed a motive.
