Elton Brand’s unspoken campaign to make the Western Conference All-Star team is in its final days.

Coaches will vote Monday on reserves for the Feb. 20 game at Denver, with results to be announced Tuesday. Brand has averaged more than 24 points and 12 rebounds a game over the last three weeks.

“Where we are and what he’s done should jump out at them,” Mike Dunleavy said of his fellow coaches. “There’s definitely a case to be made.... If you’re on a winning team, you need to be considered.”

Brand is still a longshot. Yao Ming, Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan made the team as starters. Among those who will be considered as reserves are Amare Stoudemire, Shawn Marion, Dirk Nowitzki, Chris Webber, Pau Gasol and Peja Stojakovic.

The Clippers, depending on what they do with Kerry Kittles, could be in the market for a shooting guard this summer. Michael Redd, the Bucks’ All-Star guard, could be available as an unrestricted free agent if he opts out of his contract, as expected.

“I’ve been bombarded by a lot of suggestions of teams,” Redd said before Friday night’s game. “I never really imagined the Clippers....

“I think the best thing for me is just to focus on the task at hand. People start thinking about free agency, it messes up their game a little bit. I can’t afford to focus too much on it. But is it in the back of my head? Absolutely.”
