‘The Terminal,’ ‘Lemony’ honored

The Art Directors Guild has selected “The Terminal” and “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” for excellence in production design awards for 2004 feature films. The presentations were made Saturday night in Beverly Hills, with Alex McDowell of “Terminal” winning for contemporary film and Rick Heinrichs of “Lemony Snicket” for period or fantasy film.

In the TV categories, the winners were Thomas Walsh for “Desperate Housewives” (single-camera series), Glenda Rovello for “Will & Grace” (multi-camera series), Herbert Pinter for “And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself” (movie or miniseries), Roy Christopher for the 76th annual Academy Awards (variety or awards show, music special or documentary) and Lauryn LeClere for “Ignoring the Storm” (commercial).
