Death Toll in Coal Mine Accident Rises to 209

Rescuers searching for coal miners trapped by an explosion found six more bodies, bringing the death toll in China’s worst mining disaster in decades to 209, the government said.
Another six miners were still missing after the gas explosion Monday in the Sunjiawan coal mine at the town of Fuxin, the official New China News Agency reported.
