Too Young to Protest
Re “Gay ‘Weddings’ at School Protested,” Feb. 12: The photo of two children holding signs picketing against that same-sex mock wedding held at a Southern California high school was unnerving to me -- as would be one showing children picketing in favor of such weddings. It might be an appealing photo op, but it’s appalling in my mind that parents make little children campaign for or against something they’re way too young to understand or reason about. That’s not parenting, it’s brainwashing.
