Redevelopment Agency Promises Overhaul

Community Redevelopment Agency leaders said Wednesday that in response to critical audits, they would overhaul how the agency funds and monitors projects.
City Controller Laura Chick said she would make sure with follow-up audits next fall.
Her office released three audits last fall that she said portrayed an agency in disarray that did not keep adequate track of its properties and loans.
