From Times Wire Reports

A North Hollywood company is recalling its packaged sandwiches and salads because they may be contaminated with listeria, which can cause food poisoning.

Fay’s Foods Inc. said it was recalling the food packaged under the labels Fay’s and Just For You. The packages have codes ranging from 05003 through 05049 stamped on the bottom.

The products were produced Jan. 3 through Friday, company President Roger Glade said Saturday. Most of the sandwiches and salads were sold through convenience stores in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Ventura counties, he said.
