A former Inglewood school board president was sentenced Thursday to five years in prison for welfare fraud, campaign finance violations and lying about her credentials to obtain teaching jobs.

Cresia Green-Davis, 51, is now barred by the state Constitution from ever again holding public office.

A Superior Court judge ordered her to pay $162,788 in restitution to the Compton Unified School District, the Centinela Valley Union High School District and the state.
