Campaign Ad Alleges City Hall Corruption
A city employee union that supports Councilman Antonio Villaraigosa for mayor is paying for radio ads that note “allegations of corruption” in City Hall.
The 60-second ad by the Engineers and Architects Assn. features a man who describes himself as a veteran city worker. He says: “This pay-to-play business is making us look bad and that’s not right.”
The association spent $13,750 to broadcast the pro-Villaraigosa ad.
