A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ruled that the son of Robert F. Kennedy cannot intervene in three lawsuits surrounding the fate of the Ambassador Hotel, where Kennedy was assassinated in 1968 and the Los Angeles Unified School District hopes to build a $318-million campus for 4,200 students in kindergarten through high school.

Judge Dzintra Janavs consolidated two of the suits. A third lawsuit will be heard separately.
