Memorial Service Is Today for Ex-Schools Chief Harry Handler

A memorial service for Harry Handler, superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District from 1981 to 1987, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Brentwood Science Magnet School, 740 Gretna Green Way, Brentwood. Handler died Feb. 20 at the age of 76.
