Jailed for Life
The Times reported Jan. 3 that the U.S. government plans to keep some suspected terrorists in custody for their lifetime even if there’s not enough evidence to bring them before a judge. Whatever happened to the 6th Amendment? In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial. If the Bush administration can do it to them, it can do it to me.
