Palm-Size TV Cuts Need for Phone Link, for Now

The idea of using the Internet to connect my palm-size video cellphone to my cable TV at home is intriguing (“Moving to Cut TV’s Ties to the Living Room Set,” Jan. 6).

But for the last nine years I have had a palm-size Casio TV with a 2-inch screen that I can take with me.

And in the Los Angeles area it will pull in 20 to 25 channels -- at least until the Federal Communications Commission mandate replacing conventional TV with widescreen digital takes effect.
