From Times Wire Reports
A former mayor and two of his sons were found handcuffed and shot to death along a highway in the border state of Tamaulipas, where drug-related violence has intensified in recent months, police said.
Teodoro Herrera, 67, and his sons Teodoro and Jaime, 47 and 45, were found shot in the head Monday along a road between Ciudad Victoria and Soto La Marina, about 170 miles southwest of Brownsville, Texas, said Luis Uvalle, a spokesman with the state’s Ministerial Police.
