A Roman Catholic parish in Boulder buried the ashes of hundreds of aborted fetuses, a day after the 32nd anniversary of the Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal.

About 250 parishioners prayed as the ashes were buried in the Sacred Heart of Mary Church cemetery, while a handful of demonstrators gathered nearby with signs that read, “This church is a grave robber.”

The parish obtained the ashes from a local mortuary that has a contract to cremate remains from the Boulder Abortion Clinic. But the clinic has said it didn’t know the ashes were being given to the church.
