‘Suspicious’ Origin Seen in Burned-Out Eatery

A fire that gutted a restaurant and caused about $1.2 million in damage was deemed “suspicious,” fire officials said Monday.
An investigation continues into the blaze broke out shortly after 1 a.m. at Home Buffet on Centerpointe Drive. It took 60 firefighters about 1 1/2 hours to control the blaze, which also damaged a florist shop, a print shop and a spa, officials said.
