Swimmers evacuated a public pool in Darwin, Australia, when they discovered they were sharing it with a crocodile.

About four people were swimming laps in the 50-meter-long pool when a lifeguard was alerted that a 3-foot saltwater crocodile had been spotted.

The pool was closed until authorities removed the young reptile. They described it as placid and in poor health. It was taken to a crocodile farm, where it will either join breeding stock or be slaughtered for leather.
