New Digs for the U.N.?
Re “Going Gets Tough for the U.N.,” June 26: Why not give some needy countries the opportunity to host the United Nations? Many surely could use the revenue. The United States and New York have been “landlords” for decades. Isn’t it time that another country might enjoy the benefit of this world body? Moving the United Nations to a developing country could help its economy and offer the U.N. delegates a true insight into the problems that poor nations experience.
