Huntington Beach: The city’s 101st Fourth of July parade, “Celebrating the American Spirit,” starts at 10 a.m. at 8th Street and Pacific Coast Highway. Fireworks at the pier begin at 9 p.m. Pier seating for the show is $15 or four for $50. (714) 374-1535.

Orange: Fred Kelly Stadium at El Modena High School, 3920 Spring St., will be the site of the city’s celebration Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. There will be food and entertainment for adults and children. San Clemente: Fireworks begin at dusk at the end of the San Clemente Pier.
