Indonesia promised to arrest those responsible for shooting a Dutch woman in the country’s tsunami-devastated Aceh province, saying all parties in the war-ravaged region must protect foreign aid workers.

Marije Mellegers, 24, was the second aid worker to be wounded in a month. She was shot in the right leg Thursday while traveling in an unmarked car from the city of Medan to Meulaboh on Aceh’s west coast, said Reiko Niimi, the United Nations’ acting deputy humanitarian coordinator in the province.
