As expected, the Senate Banking Committee said Wednesday that it would vote today on the nomination of Rep. Christopher Cox to become chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. The committee is expected to approve Cox’s nomination along with those of Democrats Roel C. Campos and Annette Nazareth to the five-member panel. A favorable vote would send nominees’ names to the full Senate for final consideration.
