Small Plane Crash Kills 1 in Valley

A single-engine plane crashed in a vacant area of the San Fernando Valley on Wednesday night, killing the one person aboard, authorities said.
The location of the crash, which occurred at 11:06 p.m, wasn’t immediately clear.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson put it in the Aliso Park area of Granada Hills.
However, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman described the site as a ravine near Zelzah Avenue in the Porter Ranch area.
No further details were available.
