Mountain Lion Spotted on Cal State Campus
A mature mountain lion has been spotted roaming the grounds of Cal State San Bernardino, and authorities are urging students and others to be cautious. There are two weeks left in the university’s spring quarter.
The cougar was seen on West Northpark Boulevard, and authorities found tracks near a deer carcass they left in nearby Devil’s Canyon in an attempt to verify the sightings.
“The word needs to be out there,” said Lt. Brian Bodily of the campus police department. “These animals enjoy a chase, and they will attack.”
