L.A. Councilman-Elect Sworn In
Los Angeles City Councilman-elect Bill Rosendahl was sworn into office Wednesday, although he does not take his seat until 11th District Councilwoman Cindy Miscikowski leaves office June 30.
“This is the private, official ceremony that we do so that on midnight on July 1 we don’t have a break of service,” said City Clerk Frank Martinez.
Martinez has sworn in all of the reelected council members except Jack Weiss.
Rosendahl, a former cable television executive, has scheduled a public ceremony July 2 at the Venice Beach Pavilion.
