* The Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday reopened the public comment period for a proposal that would require brokers, at the time they sell mutual fund shares, to better disclose upfront fees and other compensation they might receive for the sales. The SEC for the last year has been wrestling with what additional disclosures brokers should make when they sell fund shares.
