Woman, 24, Kills Self by Jumping Off Overpass

A woman committed suicide Wednesday by jumping off an overpass on the Santa Ana Freeway, officials said.
The 7:30 a.m. incident occurred in the eastbound lanes at La Veta Avenue, snarling traffic for hours along the Santa Ana, Garden Grove and Orange freeways as police investigated, officials said.
The 24-year-old woman’s name has not been released pending notification of relatives.
